The chemmeen fry at Gopika, Varapuzha
Recently I went to the Gopika hotel @ Varapuzha, after a long break. Ordered for chemmeen (prawns) fry and a beer. The prawns fry, even though very spicy was really tasty. I must admit it. It was priced at around Rs.100/- and found it reasonable based on the taste and the quantity. Next time you pass through varapuzha, do not forget to take a break at Gopika hotel, which is visible from NH 17, on the left, immediately after the bridge, if you are coming from Ernakulam side....:-)

Mrs. Rosy thomas passed away today
Well known writer Mrs. Rosy thomas, daughter of sri. M.p paul, passed away today at her son's house at puthenpally. May her soul rest in peace.
