Today I happened to be there at Puthenpally parish hall to attend a function, and was taken aback by the sad state of the old majestic puthenpally church, which is taken over by the archeological department. Left as it is, it is just a matter of months before the entire structure collapse. Along with it goes two centuries history. Only the blue blooded can understand the value of culture and heritage, not the culture less who gets into departments through back doors.
Will the concerned authorities wake up and do the needful to protect this symbol of our heritage.
