Varapuzha is changing rapidly. It has almost become an integral part of Kochi city. The social architecture of the village has already disappeared, and a new value system is emerging. The nature of this new social architecture will be determined by the architects. Unfortunately the intellectual cream of the society is not playing an active role in developing this new social architecture. They are scattered and spread across the globe, leaving the major decision making of the future Varapuzha to incompetent hands. There is absolutely no point in criticizing without contributing to this cause.
Formulating a first draft vision for Varapuzha is my humble first step in this direction. I request all of you to support me to perfect it and to do something about it.
Vision for Varapuzha (Draft)
Varapuzha must develop and integrate well with the rest of the world as a role model town by Proactive planning and execution of initiatives supporting high quality education, environment protection, patriotic thinking, culture preservation and technology exploitation. These will be achieved by the participation of all it's citizens without any bias for caste, politics, color, education and financial status.
