ഗൂഗിളിനു നന്ദി . ഇപ്പോള്‍ മലയാളം ഒരുവിധം നന്നായി ടൈപ്പ് ചെയ്യാന്‍ പറ്റുന്നുണ്ട്. അതിനു പിന്നില്‍ പ്രവര്‍ത്തിച്ച എല്ലാ ഗൂഗിള്‍ എഞ്ചിനീയര്‍മാര്‍ക്കും ഞങ്ങളുടെ എല്ലാവരുടെയും പേരില്‍ നന്ദി. ഇത് ടെക്നോളജി സാധാരണക്കാരനെ സേവിക്കുവാന്‍ പ്രാപ്തി ഉള്ളതാക്കി തീര്കും എന്ന് ഉറപ്പായ കാര്യം ആണ്. അപ്പോഴാണ് ഇന്ത്യ ശരിയായ വികസനത്തിന്റെ പാതയില്‍ എത്തുന്നത്‌. ഇത്രയും കാലം എഴുത്തും വായനയും അറിഞ്ഞാല്‍ വിദ്യാഭ്യാസം ഉള്ളവനായി പരിഗണിക്കപെട്ടിരുന്നു. ഇന്നത്തെ കാലത്ത് ആ തിരിവ് കമ്പ്യൂട്ടറില്‍ ആശയ വിനിമയം ചെയ്യാന്‍ അറിയുമോ ഇല്ലെയോ എന്നതിനെ ആശ്രയിച്ചിരിക്കും. കമ്പ്യൂട്ടര്‍ ഉപയോഗിക്കാന്‍ ഇംഗ്ലീഷ് ഭാഷ അറിയണമായിരുന്നു ഇത്രയും കാലം. ഗൂഗിളിന്റെ ഈ മലയാളം ടൈപ്പിംഗ്‌ സൌകര്യം കമ്പ്യൂട്ടറിന്റെ ഗുണം സാധാരണ ജനതയ്ക്ക് എത്തിക്കാന്‍ സഹായകം ആവും എന്ന് ഉറപ്പായ കാര്യം ആണ്. ഇതാണ് ശരിയായ വിപ്ലവം.

Our thanks to all google engineers who worked behind this initiative. This will help to extend the benefit of the technology to the common man. Till now, if someone knew how to read and write, he was considered as literate. In the future it will be between those who can use a computer to communicate Vs who cannot do so. This feature of google, which is in a highly matured state, will help the common man to reap the benefits of the digital media. This is the real revolution envisaged by Gandhi and Kalam.
