He started this small hotel (single room) with a very transparent kitchen in the year 1957, and the hotel is still going strong. This is one hotel without any name board, rather it does not need a name board. It is known as 'Pius chettan's kada', and every body knows it. For those who does not know, it is a small hotel, just behind the 'puthenpally kurishu palli'. His customers include some of the very high profiles to the lowest in the society. He is one person who challenged (inspired) me to 'do something' to change the society and the system, than just whaling about it, without taking any action. Wish him good luck.
പിയുസ് ചേട്ടന്റെ കട
ഈ കടക്കു ബോര്ഡ് വേണ്ട. പിയുസ് ചേട്ടന്റെ കട എന്ന് പറഞ്ഞാല് എല്ലാവര്ക്കും അറിയാം. ൧൯൫൭, ആയിരത്തി തോല്ലായിരതി തൊള്ളായിരം അന്പത്തി എഴില് ആണ് ഈ കട തുടങ്ങിയത്. അതായതു ഞാന് ജനിക്കുന്നതിനും മുന്പേ ഈ കട തുടങ്ങിയിട്ടുണ്ട്. പല മഹാന്മാരും അതുപോലെ തന്നെ സാധാരണ ജനങ്ങളും ഒരുപോലെ ഈ കടയില് നിന്നും ഭക്ഷണം കഴിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്. ഒരു ദിവസം ഈ കടയില് ഇരുന്നു വെറുതെ റോട്ടിലെ കുഴികളെ കുറിച്ച് സംസാരിച്ചു. ഒരു കണ്ണ് തുറപ്പിക്കല് പോലെ പിയുസ് ചേട്ടന് ചോദിച്ചു - ഒരു കേസ് കൊടുക്കാന് പാടില്ലേ എന്ന്. അത് വളരെ അര്ഥം ഉള്ള ഒരു ചോദ്യം ആയിരുന്നു. എന്റെ ഉള്ളില് കൊണ്ട ചോദ്യം. പിയുസ് ചേട്ടന് എല്ലാ നന്മകളും നേരുന്നു
